Living Earth Foundation UK was first established in 1988 and is today at the heart of a growing network of organisations around the world. This staff team of over 70 people in more than 6 countries works in a co-operative and supportive way to maximise their impact.

The network is currently made up of five fully independent, locally managed organisations: Fundación Tierra Viva (FTV) in Venezuela, Living Earth Nigeria Foundation (LENF), Living Earth Uganda, Fondation Camerounaise de la Terre Vivante (FCTV) in Cameroon and Living Earth Ghana.

Many of the challenges society now faces are of a global nature. Living Earth Foundation believes that they will be most effectively addressed by understanding different views and perspectives, sharing ideas across cultures and learning from each other to develop a locally appropriate response.
